Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the British Curriculum, tailored to the developmental needs of Primary school students.
- Foster a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to ensure the holistic development of each child.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s progress.
- Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development sessions.
- Uphold the school’s values and commitment to excellence in education.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Primary Education or a related field.
- Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- Preferably British-qualified teachers with experience in the British Curriculum.
- Proven experience teaching Primary school students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to embrace a new cultural environment.
Day-to-Day
- Deliver interactive and engaging lessons that cater to the individual needs of each student.
- Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment where children feel valued and supported.
- Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to inspire and motivate young learners.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants and other staff to ensure a cohesive learning experience.
- Communicate regularly with parents to keep them informed about their child’s development.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school activities.
