Responsibilities
As the Primary School Vice Principal, your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the Principal in the overall administration and management of the school.
- Leading and supporting the development and implementation of the school’s curriculum and instructional programs.
- Supervising and mentoring teaching staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality education.
- Monitoring student progress and implementing strategies to support academic and personal growth.
- Promoting a safe, inclusive, and positive school environment for students and staff.
- Collaborating with parents and guardians to address student needs and concerns.
- Ensuring compliance with educational regulations and school policies.
- Organizing and participating in school events, activities, and professional development programs.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or administrative role.
- Strong knowledge of primary education curriculum and best practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire a team of educators.
- Familiarity with the cultural and educational landscape of the UAE is an advantage.
Day-to-Day
Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Conducting classroom observations and providing constructive feedback to teachers.
- Meeting with staff to discuss curriculum planning, student progress, and school initiatives.
- Addressing student behavioral issues and implementing disciplinary measures when necessary.
- Communicating with parents to provide updates on student performance and school activities.
- Reviewing and analyzing student performance data to identify areas for improvement.
- Coordinating with the Principal to develop and implement school policies and procedures.
- Ensuring the smooth operation of the school by addressing any administrative or logistical challenges.
