Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans in line with the psychology curriculum
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement
  • Assess and provide constructive feedback on student progress
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience
  • Participate in parent-teacher conferences and school events

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Teaching certification or license
  • Proven experience in teaching psychology at the high school level
  • Strong understanding of educational technology and its integration into the classroom
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Day-to-day

  • Conducting classes and facilitating discussions
  • Preparing and grading assignments and exams
  • Providing individualized support to students as needed
  • Participating in faculty meetings and professional development sessions
  • Communicating with parents and guardians regarding student progress
