We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physics Specialist to take on the role of Head of Science in Beijing, China. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching the British curriculum up to A-level and leading the Science department.

Responsibilities

• Teach Physics according to the British curriculum up to A-level
• Lead and manage the Science department
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
• Monitor and assess student progress
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Science curriculum
• Participate in school events and extracurricular activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physics or related field
• Teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
• Experience teaching the British curriculum, specifically up to A-level
• Proven leadership and management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Understanding of assessment and evaluation techniques

Day-to-day

As the Head of Science, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality Physics education, provide guidance and support to the Science department, and contribute to the overall academic and pastoral care of students.
