Overview

We are seeking a nurturing and dedicated Infant School Teacher to join our school in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for nursery and reception-aged children. Responsibilities

  • Create and implement lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Provide individualized support to meet the needs of all students
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and coordinate curriculum

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • Proven experience working with nursery and reception-aged children
  • Understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching methods
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children

Day-to-day

  • Engage children in a variety of learning activities, including play, arts and crafts, and storytelling
  • Observe and assess each child's development and progress
  • Communicate with parents and guardians about their child's day and any notable achievements or challenges
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to create a supportive and inclusive school community
  • Continuously seek professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education
